이재명 대통령은 개정된 형사소송법 이후 경찰의 수사 역량 강화와 국민 신뢰 확보 필요성을 강조했습니다. 특히 검경 합수본 유지 가능성에 대해 부처 간 의견 차이가 발생하자 법률 검토를 당부했습니다. 대통령은 검사의 수사권이 없어졌음에도 불구하고 기존 합동수사본부가 법적 근거를 갖는지 확인하며, 형사소송법 개정 후 발생할 수 있는 문제에 대한 대비책 마련을 강조했습니다. 또한 정성호 법무장관과 윤호중 행정안전부 장관에게 친분을 언급하며 협력을 당부했습니다.
President Lee Jae-myung emphasized the need to strengthen police investigative capabilities and secure public trust after the revised Criminal Procedure Act. He specifically urged legal review when differences of opinion arose between ministries regarding the possibility of maintaining the prosecution-police joint investigation team. The president stressed the need to prepare countermeasures for potential problems that may arise after the revision of the Criminal Procedure Act, while confirming whether the existing joint investigation headquarters has a legal basis even though the prosecutor's investigative power has been removed. He also urged cooperation by mentioning his close relationship with Minister of Justice Jeong Seong-ho and Minister of Public Administration and Security Yoon Ho-jung.

Ia juga menyinggung persahabatannya dengan Menteri Kehakiman Jeong Seong-ho dan Menteri Administrasi dan Keamanan Yoon Ho-jung sambil mendesak mereka untuk bekerja sama.
