The Korea Football Association (KFA) has addressed the controversy surrounding a clash between the referee and players during the Ulsan-Jeonbuk derby. The KFA determined that the collision between Bojanic player and referee Kim Dae-yong in the 29th minute of the first half was not a foul according to the rules of the game. This is because the ball did not touch any match officials, and there are no separate regulations regarding contact between players and referees. On the other hand, the KFA explained that the referee Kim stopped the game during stoppage time in the second half after colliding with player Jang Si-young. This was because the referee fell and could not determine the direction of the ball's movement. The KFA plans to revise guidelines to ensure consistency in resuming play decisions in similar situations in the future.
