The United States expanded the scope of its airstrikes along Iran's southern coast, targeting missile bases and other sites in Tehran's outskirts and inland areas. The US also tightened a maritime blockade network to disable Iranian oil tankers. In retaliation, Iran attacked US military bases located in Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait with missiles and drones. It also warned that it would attack all infrastructure threatened by the United States, including bridges and power plants.
