SSG Landers' Choi Jeong became the first player in KBO league history to achieve 20 home runs for 11 consecutive seasons. He hit his 20th home run of the season against the KIA Tigers, a feat that follows his record-breaking achievement last May of hitting 10 home runs for 21 consecutive seasons. Choi Jeong said after the game, "It's getting harder to hit home runs as I get older," but added that he "still wants to hit many more home runs." This record also increased Choi Jeong's total career home runs in the KBO league to 537.
