Kim Kun-hee appeared before the special prosecution team today as a suspect in connection with allegations of bribery and abuse of power under the Act on Aggravated Punishment for Specific Crimes. The allegations relate to her alleged involvement in securing a contract for interior design work at the former presidential residence, "21 Grams," and suspicions that she received money in return. The special prosecution team plans to focus its investigation on whether Ms. Kim intervened in the reduction and concealment of the results of an audit by the Board of Audit and Inspection. In connection with this case, former Vice Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Oh-jin and Audit Committee member Yoo Byung-ho have been arrested.
