The Asan and Cheonan areas of South Chungcheong Province experienced road flooding damage due to heavy rain in the early hours of the 22nd. Flooding was reported in Yeomchi-eup and Yeong-in-myeon, Asan City, and authorities rescued eight people who were on flooded roads. Rainfall in Asan reached a maximum of 62 mm per hour, indicating intense rainfall in a short period. Heavy rain warnings were issued for Asan and Cheonan, but they were all lifted by 6:30 am. So far, there have been no reports of casualties.
