Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa reported that the performance of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) in the first semester of 2026 showed positive results and was able to maintain fiscal health. State revenue grew by 21.4% to Rp1,459.4 trillion while state expenditure increased by 17.8% to Rp1,656.0 trillion. The APBN deficit remained under control at Rp196.5 trillion or 0.76% of GDP. This strong APBN performance has been recognized by international rating agencies such as Standard & Poor's (S&P) and Lianhe Credit Rating. Indonesia's credit rating was maintained at BBB with a stable outlook by S&P, while Lianhe Credit Rating gave a rating of AAA with a stable outlook for the Indonesian government's Panda Bond issuance plan.
