July 22, 2026 (Sat) The reactor installation ceremony was held at the BNSI (Bahodopi Nickel Smelting Indonesia) smelter within the IGIP (International Green Industria Park) in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Our company EcoPro participates as a major shareholder with a 40% stake in the smelter. It is expected to stably supply nickel used for stainless steel and batteries.
Ambassador Yoon Soon-gu attended the event, networking with EcoPro, joint venture partners GEM (China), MIND ID (Indonesia), VALE representatives. He also met with Indonesian Minister of Investment Bahlil Lahadalia to explain the contributions of Korean companies to Indonesia's industry and resource sectors and requested active support for the success of this project and other Korean company projects.
