A male worker in his 50s died in an accident at a waste treatment plant in Jeju City after being caught in a scrap metal compactor. A report was received to 119 at 3 pm on the 3rd when the worker's upper body was caught in the scrap metal compactor. When fire authorities and police arrived at the scene, the worker was already dead. Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
