I met this guy who used to ride bikes with me a while back,
one day he suddenly showed up with a S5 on his Cervelo, fully equipped with Dura-Ace.
Since I knew how much he made per month, I asked him if it wasn't too much of a stretch.
He said that upgrading bit by bit cost more money, but he was going to ride this one bike until he died anyway, so it wasn't expensive.
Only 3-4 years have passed since then?
This guy fell in love with the SWorks Tarmac SL7.
Seeing him, I realized that when your eyes are blinded by desire, you don't buy things because you need them for a specific purpose,
but rather you start making up reasons why you need to buy things.
Anyway, the rims will depreciate more and more over time (didn't he say he was going to ride it until he died?).
He's worried about heat warping the carbon wheels (he's a real summer wimp - only rides on flat roads in the summer).
No need to worry about brakes in the rain either (he never goes outside if there's rain in the forecast).
He says it's an investment in his health, and what could be healthier than this? (after every ride he always stops at the convenience store in front of his house for a beer).
I can't see him anymore because he moved, but he was a funny guy ㅋㅋㅋ
