Ambassador Yoon Soon-gu invited Megawati Sukarnoputri, former president (2001-2004) and current leader of the Indonesian Democratic Struggle Party, to his residence on August 4th (Friday) for lunch. They exchanged views on ways to develop Korea-Indonesia relations and promote peace and dialogue on the Korean Peninsula.
Other attendees at the luncheon included Puti Guntur Soewarno, member of the House of Representatives from the Indonesian Democratic Struggle Party; Hasto Kristiyanto, Secretary General of the Indonesian Democratic Struggle Party; Ahmad Basarah, member of the House of Representatives; Vinta Puspayoga, Chairwoman of the Women and Children Committee of the Indonesian Democratic Struggle Party; and Rokmin Dahuri, member of the House of Representatives.
