The Ivorian Football Federation has appointed Hervé Renard as its new head coach. Coach Renard previously led the Ivory Coast national team from 2014 to 2015, winning the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations. Recently, he served as Tunisia's assistant coach in the North and Central America World Cup qualifiers, but the team failed to advance past the group stage. In Korea, he was also mentioned as a potential successor to Paulo Bento and Hong Myung-bo. Coach Renard aims to win the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast.
