I want a Garmin because I've been fighting with Suvel since last night.
As a result of continuous attempts, there is no problem with pairing on existing smartphones and iPhone, but the connection is interrupted during pairing only on the Fold 8 model.
As a result of inquiring about this content to the Garmin Korea AS team
I answered their request for confirmation regarding the ONE UI version and Android version during the phone call,
and I was able to confirm that other Fold Flip users, excluding me, have experienced the same symptoms and inquired about them.
The Garmin Korea side suggested that it seems that the new smartphone model is not supported because of the same symptoms. They requested data on the symptoms and the Garmin folder from the AS team and sent them by email.
Even with my limited knowledge, I think that the Fold 8 and Flip are the latest models, so they may not be paired within the existing Garmin pairing range.
After talking to Garmin Korea, the technical team also provided detailed other methods, and they are aware of the fact that pairing is still impossible with those methods.
So I think we will get an answer about this problem soon.
