The cryptocurrency exchange Coinone is expected to extend its partnership with Kakao Bank for Korean won deposits and withdrawals by one year. The two companies agreed to renew the existing contract, which expires in mid-month, and there are no major disagreements, according to sources. Coinone changed its partner bank from NH NongHyup Bank to Kakao Bank in November 2022. Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Bank is also likely to extend its partnership agreement with Bithumb by one year, which expires at the end of next month. KB Kookmin Bank signed a one-year contract with Bithumb last March, but shortened the period to six months after Bithumb's Bitcoin overpayment incident in March this year and renewed the contract.
