As most of you know....
Just in case anyone doesn't know....
These days, even if you put 10 points of air into a tire with a regular pump at home,
it might not work and you might give up and go to the shop.
At that time, try removing the valve stem and then putting in air.
Then it will almost certainly work (assuming the tire bead is properly seated).
(The key is to make sure the tire position is centered so that the beads are aligned)
Once you install the valve stem, the internal passage becomes narrower,
so the air pressure may not reach its maximum.
There may also be sealant stuck inside the stem.
I'm leaving this here for those who don't know.
