The victim, student A, attempted to jump from the school building during lunchtime on November 2025 after being bullied, but survived thanks to the help of a friend. While A's side claims school violence, there are no related records in the Jeju Education Office, leading to controversy over insufficient student protection measures. Police are currently reviewing the complaint and plan to investigate the accused.
