Andy Burnham, the UK Prime Minister, exchanged messages with someone impersonating Suzie Wales, the White House Chief of Staff, just one month after taking office. The Prime Minister's Office stated that national security issues were not mentioned in the messages, but the UK government suspects that Wales's phone may have been hacked again. This incident is similar to last year's case where Wales's contact list was hacked by an impersonator, and the US FBI investigated the impersonator at the time. Cases of impersonating high-ranking politicians or diplomats have also occurred in Europe, resulting in embarrassment.
