Last month's Typhoon 'Maysak' which hit Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China, resulted in the deaths of at least 159 people and left 10 missing. The typhoon brought record rainfall to a wide area, causing severe damage. Nanning and Guigang are currently entering the recovery and reconstruction phase, with over 1.65 million people having experienced typhoon damage. The Chinese government is actively working on typhoon damage recovery and support.
