Hanwha started scoring from the 4th inning and caught up in the 6th inning with Kim Tae-yeon's home run and consecutive hits. In the bottom of the 7th inning, they tied the game, and in the bottom of the 8th inning, they turned the game around with timely hits from Kim Tae-yeon, Moon Hyun-bin, and Han Ji-yoon. This is the second-highest record for a come-from-behind victory with the largest point difference in KBO league history. On the other hand, LG continued to slump, recording more than 15 runs allowed for two consecutive games after losing to kt wiz the previous day.
