Starting in September, the eligibility criteria for receiving national pension benefits will be simplified so that recipients can automatically receive old-age pensions. In addition, insurance premiums for which income deductions have not been received will be directly linked to tax agency data by the National Pension Corporation to reduce tax burdens. For elderly people in rural areas who have difficulty moving, a service is also provided where staff members directly deliver pensions in cash. These improved services are expected to make it more convenient for national pension recipients to receive their pensions and contribute to addressing blind spots.
