Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman said in an interview with tech media Tom's Guide on the 1st (local time), "From what I've heard, MagSafe seems to be equipped on foldable phones," and "It's been applied to iPhone Air, and I think there's no reason why it can't be applied to foldable phones."
As the iPhone Ultra is expected to have an ultra-slim design with a thickness of only 4.5mm when the device is unfolded, the possibility of MagSafe being excluded has also been raised. Additionally, rumors have surfaced that Touch ID will be applied due to insufficient space to accommodate the camera components needed for Face ID.
However, Gurman predicts that it's likely that MagSafe will be equipped on the iPhone Ultra and also mentioned key specifications.

Earlier, there were observations that the foldable iPhone would be released later than the iPhone 18 Pro due to production delays, but Gurman predicts that the iPhone Ultra will be released on the same day as the Pro model or within a few weeks.
