Father Lee Jun, a patriot and Korea's first prosecutor, was martyred in The Hague for trying to expose the injustice of the Eulsa Treaty to the international community. Although the Father Lee Jun Memorial Museum has displayed a suit believed to have been worn by Father Lee Jun during his mission as special envoy for 31 years, it has not been able to accurately reproduce it due to a lack of photographic data. Recently, Prosecutor Park Jin-sung, who visited The Hague on behalf of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP), donated the legal robes currently worn by prosecutors to Curator Song Chang-ju. Next year, which marks the 120th anniversary of Father Lee Jun's martyrdom, we plan to hold events to raise awareness of his spirit and gather national attention.
