The long-awaited 9th-generation Tarmac has finally been announced.
My entry-level 6th-gen Tarmac disc (fall of '19) cost around 13.4 million won,
so it's wild that 20 million won is now the benchmark for a flagship.
One visible difference is the handlebar—they went with flare + changed the angle to -10 degrees.
Looking at the spy shots out there rather than just the official photos, it does feel like it's gotten wider.
I'll need to read a bit more to be sure, but it seems like they're selling it to consumers on the point that
it has the tube profile of the Venge while weighing the same as the 8th generation.
When they announced the 7th and 8th-gen Tarmacs, they released the standard-tier Tarmacs (Pro, Expert) alongside them,
but it looks like for now they're pushing S-Works only.
