However, since this year, EUROSPORTS has withdrawn from broadcasting, making it impossible to watch.
According to rumors,EUROSPORTS' parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), has been changing its sports broadcasting strategy since this year. It is said that the broadcast will be moved from existing TV channels to WBD's own streaming services 'Max' and 'Discovery+'.
Anyway, since I can't watch EUROSPORTS comfortably at home anymore, I looked for ways to watch live broadcasts. Starting this Friday, you can watch most UCI cycling races live, including the 2026 Giro d'Italia. Please refer to it.

1) Time difference occurs depending on hosting region
This year's Giro d'Italia has the first 3 out of a total of 21 stages held in Bulgaria, not Italy.
- Bulgaria (Stages 1-3): Bulgaria locally has a 6-hour time difference with Korea.
- Italy (Stages 4-21): Schedules held in mainland Italy have a 7-hour time difference with Korea.
2) Expected live broadcast time based on KST
The race start time varies slightly each day depending on the distance and characteristics of each stage, but according to FloBikes, one of the major overseas broadcast platforms, the broadcast is expected to start around 10:40 AM UTC. Converting this to KST is as follows.
- Broadcast start time: The main broadcast live transmission is expected to start around 7:40 PM Korea time.
- Race end time: Typically, the finish line crossing of the cycling Grand Tour takes place around 5 PM local time, so in Korea time, the stage result for that day is likely to be decided between midnight (12 AM) and 1 AM the next day.
3) Viewing major stages and highlights
- If watching live broadcasts every night is burdensome, you can use extended highlights scheduled on weekdays at 7 AM and 5 PM on the Australian SBS Sports (SBS Sport) channel and others.
- The opening race (Stage 1) on May 8 that kicks off the event is held on a 147km course starting from Nessebar, Bulgaria and arriving in Burgas.
