Yesterday, my wife and I were riding up to Hyonamjeong for some hotteok. We were pedaling hard uphill when a group of four motorcycles came up behind us. The second rider intentionally swerved close to my wife, about 20 centimeters away, threatening her. My wife was startled and almost fell over.
We thought it might be okay if we were driving in the middle of the road, but we were riding on the far right side to avoid interfering with traffic. I was so angry that I tried to catch up, but my skills weren't enough. ㅠㅠ Anyway, as someone who enjoys hobbies, I wish they would just follow some manners.
It wasn't a good look seeing them recklessly speeding and crossing the center line like maniacs. Most riders greet us and give us thumbs-up, but some crazy drivers try to intimidate us by driving dangerously close while matching our bike speed and laughing. Of course, I remember getting hit with a few punches at the summit. Ah, it's time for a block list. We need to ride behind as well as in front of us.
