Namsan 7-minute course and Granfondo can go out too!!

Hello, I'm Mannyeon Jarin!!!

I heard that the tier list came out recently?

So I checked and I was around Nam Mountain 7 tier (7 minutes 50 seconds).

Since I've been to Granfondo before, I looked up my old records.

Nam Mountain was 7 minutes 50 seconds (7th tier).

According to the tier list, if it's a record,

Chuncheon Granfondo is listed as 105km 1600m with a 7-hour cutoff.

So I looked for the race that was most similar to the tier list and checked my old records.

The first race I ever participated in, Samcheok Granfondo, was completed in 5 hours 20 minutes (2nd tier?!?!)
over a distance of 110km 1600m.
(Of course, the record only measures movement, so if you add up the rest time at the supply station, it's about 20 minutes plus).

I'm not posting this to cause a stir.

I think there are some of you who see the tier list and think 'I can't do Granfondo...' so I wanted to give you hope!

You can do it!!!

I'm also a dad, so I rode once on weekends, twice at most.

Usually, I ride about 40-50km (mostly flat, Songpa-Paldang).

When preparing for the race, I mainly rode 60km two weeks before and 80km one week before on mostly flat roads (I went to Gaori course).

Looking at the Dossa posts, it seems like there's a high barrier to entry.

For those of you who are wondering if you can participate in the race,

It's definitely possible!!!

You can enjoy nature and make memories!

Don't worry and just apply for the race and participate!

It's not as hard as you think (haha)

There are many things to gain, so don't be afraid or worried. I recommend that you try applying for a race at least once and go.
