I am having many conversations and collecting information with the seller. I found a repair trace (below the problematic area) from a previous transaction with the seller.
When I asked about it, the seller said they had inquired with the previous seller and that it had been repaired. (They didn't disclose this at the time of sale, and it seems like they were inquiring due to a dispute with me, so they may have said it was a different part.)
After talking it over, it seemed like both the seller and I were victims. After a lot of thought,
I apologized for the seller's initial response and I also apologized for my hasty actions.
The seller proposed a solution where they would bear the loss under difficult conditions. They felt wronged because of this. However, it was impossible to accept the situation as if they were the victim. Instead, we agreed to work together to address the previous seller.
We will proceed with the rest of the process together with the seller.
