Both MTB and road bikes have power meters.
When I tried both, the MTB felt harder to ride at the same power output.
The reason is
the gear ratio.
Because the MTB has many gear ratio ranges, it's not easy to exert power unless you push hard.
On the other hand, if you combine cadence and torque appropriately on a road bike, it feels easier than an MTB.
Cleats
Do MTB cleats feel loose because they are powerful? ㅋ
As someone who has ridden both MTB and road bikes,
MTB off-road training is really the best.
It's also fun to ride on gravel roads and blast through them at high speeds, which is just as exciting as riding a road bike fast.
And MTB is safer than a road bike^^
