Four major banks (KB Kookmin, Shinhan, Woori, and Hana Bank) will begin providing credit loan services through post offices for residents in areas without bank branches. This project, which will start pilot operation on the 20th, aims to increase the convenience of financial services for digitally vulnerable groups and residents in financially underserved areas. Residents in pilot operation areas can receive loan counseling at post offices, compare products by bank, and receive loans under the most favorable conditions. Post offices are responsible for loan counseling and document processing, while loan review and approval are handled by the respective banks. According to the financial authorities' plan, the operating area and products handled will be expanded next year.
