South Korean national football team midfielder Lee Kang-in underwent a medical check in Korea as part of his transfer process to Spanish club Atlético Madrid. José María Viyón, the head of Atlético Madrid's medical department, visited Korea to conduct Lee Kang-in's medical examination. This appears to have taken place after Lee Kang-in terminated his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and reached a transfer agreement with Atlético Madrid. Previously, French media reported that Lee Kang-in's transfer fee would be around 70 billion won. An official announcement of the transfer is expected after Lee Kang-in completes his medical check.
