Labor and management narrowed the gap to 200 won by proposing 18,200 won and 16,200 won, respectively, in next year's minimum wage negotiations. Public interest committee members presented a 'deliberation facilitation range' between 16,000 won and 18,600 won to facilitate an agreement between the two sides. The Minimum Wage Commission is expected to make a final decision through marathon negotiations today. Since the minimum wage must be announced by August 5th, if a final agreement is not reached at this meeting, it is possible that it will be decided by vote.
