The Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do regions will be under a severe heat wave warning from the 26th, with the highest temperature expected to rise to 33~38 degrees Celsius. A severe heat wave warning has been issued for some areas such as Gyeongsan, Cheongdo, Goryeong, Pohang, and Gyeongju, while other areas are under a heat wave warning and advisory. As a result, a special heat wave alert is in effect throughout Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do. In addition, a tropical night advisory has been issued for most regions. Some parts of northern Gyeongsangbuk-do may experience showers between day and evening, with expected precipitation ranging from 5 to 40 mm. The Korea Meteorological Administration urged people to take care of their health as the heat wave and tropical nights are expected to continue for a while.
