This is Rian.
I made a new app after a long time (... it ended up taking me over 10 months-_-)
and I finally submitted it for review, but there has been no word for five days now.
I had heard that reviews take a long time these days because of vibe coding,
but seeing it still in review on the fifth day is painful ㅠㅠ
I had hoped to release it early this week and brag away,
...
so just in case, I am writing this post like a talisman.
I use AI in development too,
and since codex 5.6 came out last month I was so shocked I wondered whether my career ... even means anything.
These days, even for things like bugs, I just upload a crash report, or describe the situation and tell it to go find the cause
and seeing myself hunting like this... I really feel that developers will soon be finished.
Of course, building an app (a service) with a good architecture is another story.
These days I work with the mindset of a detailed planner rather than of a developer.
(Of course, even in the past a developer's role doubled as a detailed planner.
For example, in some service, how should the date limit work, or how should the item selection count be limited, and so on,
the role of finding what planners missed and reinforcing the plan...)
Anyway, fighting to all the developers living in this era.
I hope the app passes review soon. ㅠㅠ
