I recently started working on RepView again, which I previously posted about making it easier to see the activities of National Assembly members.
At first,
“What is our neighborhood lawmaker actually doing in the National Assembly?”
I wanted to create a site where you could easily check things like voting participation rate, abstentions, and proposed bills at a glance.
As I used it myself, I became curious about other things, so the functions have increased quite a bit ㅋㅋ
The main features added this time are
Different Voting from Party Majority
You can check which bills were voted differently from the majority selection of lawmakers of the same party.
Lawmaker Relationships
You can see who frequently co-sponsored bills with whom, which lawmakers in other parties they collaborated with the most, and which lawmakers had similar voting patterns.
Bill Detail Page
You can view the current processing status of a bill, the representative and co-sponsors, the processing process, and the results of the plenary session vote on one page.
You can also check the yes, no, abstention votes, and the distribution by party, as well as the actual voting results for each lawmaker.
US House Election Funding Information
For the US version, you can see the scale of federal election funds for each lawmaker, individual donations, PAC and political committee donations, and major donor committees.
In addition to this, existing functions such as lawmaker comparison, activity rankings, and recent view rankings have been continuously improved.
As with the initial creation,
the goal is not to show a lot of information but to make it easy for even those who are not very interested in politics to understand quickly.
The aim is to show the actual activities that can be confirmed from the National Assembly's open data as easily as possible, and leave the judgment to the viewer.
It was quite popular when it was first released ㅋㅋ
But these days it's very quiet. I continue to work on it as a personal project, adding new features whenever I have an idea.
Next time, I'm thinking of adding the UK Parliament.
It would be interesting to someday create a platform where you can see lawmakers from multiple countries in one place ㅋㅋ

A lot has changed since the last time people visited, so please take a look and let me know if you find anything strange or have any interesting ideas.
