Iranian military commander Amir Hatami announced that he would pay a reward of $30,000 for the killing or capture of US soldiers. He said the reward would be doubled if a woman carried out the act. Iran is showing a strong stance against the United States and warning against the US entry into Iranian territory. The United States and Iran have continued sporadic armed clashes since the ceasefire agreement collapsed after the war that began in February.
