A man in his 60s, Mr. A, stalked Ms. B, the female owner of a beauty salon he used to go to, in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. When a passerby intervened, Mr. A brandished a hand axe. Despite Ms. B's refusal, Mr. A followed her, and when a man in his 30s tried to stop him, Mr. A swung the hand axe. Fortunately, no one was injured. Police tracked Mr. A's movements through CCTV footage and arrested him at the scene. They determined that Mr. A had a mental illness and took emergency hospitalization measures. Police plan to apply for an arrest warrant against Mr. A.
