I am currently using GitHub Copilot.
I'm using the Max plan for $100 a month, but the token consumption rate is incredibly high. I'm starting to think I might end up spending $300 a month if I keep using it like this.
It's good, but I don't think it's worth spending that much money.
The good thing about Copilot is that you can use any model you want at any time, whether it's Claude or GPT, or it automatically uses the cheapest one. However, the biggest obstacle is the pay-per-use system.
Claude produces coding results that I like best according to my standards, but GPT is best for quick and simple tasks.
Since Claude and GPT don't incur additional costs anyway, I wouldn't have to stress about token management. My company also allows me to spend around $200 a month on work-related expenses, so I'm most concerned about where to go after abandoning Copilot.
I didn't expect the Copilot policy to change so quickly and make me want to leave like this. ㅎㄷㄷㄷ
