Nine South Koreans went missing due to a major flood in Nepal. The Korean government dispatched a rapid response team and started search operations in the area. With improved weather conditions, helicopters chartered by the government and those provided by Doosan Enerbility were deployed for the search, and an additional nine members of the rapid response team are scheduled to be sent. Nepalese authorities are currently conducting rescue operations mainly with their military and police forces, and plan to request further assistance if needed.
