A department head at Korea Gas Safety Corporation was indicted on charges of sexual harassment for making physical contact with a subordinate employee B during a company dinner. Despite B's refusal, A continued the harassment for about 30 minutes. While A argued that he had no intention of harassment, the court accepted the victim's testimony and sentenced him to eight months in prison, suspended for one year. The court determined that A used his position as department head to commit the harassment and considered the significant psychological trauma suffered by the victim.
