The Blue House announced that President Lee Jae-myung accepted the resignation of Policy Director Kim Yong-beom on the 1st, following his announcement of resignation the previous day. He stepped down from his position about 15 months after taking office with the launch of the Lee Jae-myung administration.
Kang Yu-jung, the chief spokesperson of the Blue House, announced this at a press briefing at the Presidential Press Center today.

Director Kim has served as the control tower for the Lee Jae-myung administration's economic policies. He has played a key role in designing and implementing the government's economic and real estate policies. Notable examples include tax reform including measures to differentiate the basic deduction of comprehensive real estate tax for non-resident single-home owners, Yongsan Park development, and the introduction of single-sector leveraged exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

It seems like they're leaving without revealing whose work the leveraged product is.
