QD-OLED Edge technology lowers OLED monitor prices.
For years, Samsung Display has been pricing its premium panels, but now it's introducing a new, more affordable panel lineup for monitors called 'QD-OLED Edge'.
While QD-OLED Edge is not typically marketed under that name to consumers, you may have already seen some of these monitors on the market. The lineup is now expanding to larger sizes, and several monitor manufacturers are adopting Samsung Display's panels for their products.
QD-OLED Edge offers familiar QD-OLED picture quality, including pixel-level control of brightness and color, but the panel is not as bright or fast as Samsung Display's newer, more premium generation. The key goal is to provide a more affordable QD-OLED alternative and help expand the market.
27-inch and 32-inch QD-OLED Edge
