Since there were no updates for about two months, I thought it might have been abandoned... but an update suddenly came out this weekend. It seems to be called Openclaw 2.0 externally, and the internal version is 2026-8-1.
As mentioned in the official post (https://openclaw.ai/blog/openclaw-2-accidentally/), the situation so far has been described in detail, but it's literally changed so much that it can be called 2.0. (It seems to be true both externally and internally...).
Because of this, I had to completely redo the settings by using Claude tokens since the update command didn't work. Even though it was a lot of work, I felt like some parts (especially the setting section on the web dashboard...) that seemed hastily made like a cardboard castle before now feel solid and like a proper service product.
