A tugboat 'Tien S Catcher' was towing a container ship with two other tugboats off the coast of Busan when it capsized. It is estimated that the Tien S Catcher overturned due to the towline while turning right. One Indonesian crew member out of eight was rescued, but one Korean crew member died and six others are missing. The Busan Maritime Police Agency has expanded the search area and is conducting a joint search with 24 vessels and seven aircraft, and is also conducting underwater searches using a Navy unmanned submersible (ROV). The Busan Maritime Police Agency has set up an investigation headquarters to determine the cause of the accident and the responsible party and is currently investigating.
