The Overseas Koreans Foundation will implement the 'K-bio Experience Camp for Young Overseas Korean Talent Development' in cooperation with Incheon National University to enhance understanding of Korea's biomedical industry and educational environment for young overseas Koreans and provide career exploration opportunities.
We request the keen interest of domestic and overseas biomedical major undergraduates and graduates interested in the experience camp below.
1. Recruitment Overview
ㅇ Operation Period: June 30, 2026 (Tuesday) ~ July 10, 2026 (Friday), 2 weeks
* July 4 (Saturday) ~ 5 (Sunday) is free time (no camp operations)
ㅇ Number of Selected: Approximately 10 people
ㅇ Application Period: From announcement date ~ June 1, 2026 (Monday), based on Korea Standard Time
ㅇ Application Qualifications
- Young overseas Koreans who are currently enrolled in or have graduated from biomedical-related majors
- Those capable of Korean communication and attending English lectures
- Those with a cumulative GPA of B or higher
ㅇ Application Age: 30 years or younger as of July 1, 2026
ㅇ Other Qualifications: Those with no disqualifying reasons for overseas travel (such as criminal records), and those in good physical and mental health to be able to study abroad and stay in Korea for a short period
2. Preference Items (Documentation Required)
ㅇ Current undergraduate students majoring in biomedical fields
ㅇ Those hoping to work at domestic biomedical companies after undergraduate graduation or pursue master's or doctoral programs in biomedical fields at Incheon National University
* In particular, those with concrete career plans in biomedical-related fields in the future
ㅇ Those with excellent Korean language ability (TOPIK Level 5 or higher)
3. Selection Process
ㅇ Application form and document submission deadline (~June 1, 2026 Monday)
ㅇ Online interview (early June 2026)
ㅇ Final acceptance announcement (mid-June 2026)
4. Support Details
ㅇ Support Contents: 'Understanding Advanced Biomedical Technology' educational and practical programs, Korean biomedical company visit programs, Korean cultural experience programs
- Dormitory accommodation provided throughout the camp period, meals (breakfast, excluding weekends) provided
- Round-trip airfare actual cost support (according to grade-specific limits)
5. Application Method
ㅇ Overseas resident Koreans: Submit to the competent overseas diplomatic mission in the country of residence (Civil Affairs Office on the 1st floor of the Consular Affairs Division)
ㅇ Domestic resident Koreans: Submit directly to the Overseas Koreans Foundation (by mail, in person, etc.)

7. Precautions
ㅇ Original documents issued by overseas diplomatic missions, universities, etc. should be submitted in principle, but copies may be submitted at the time of application

Furthermore, failure to submit original documents or discrepancies between previously submitted documents and original documents may result in final rejection.
