This is a summary of the Anthropic consultation regarding the change of the Claude Max plan to free.

As I mentioned in my previous post, the Max plan I was using well has been changed to a free plan, so

I had a conversation with a human counselor through an AI counselor.

  • When I checked their system, it turned out that I canceled the subscription myself -> so they can't restore it

  • I inquired whether there is no subscription cancellation function and only subscription extension cancellation -> no response

  • Even if I cancel the subscription, isn't the Max plan valid from May 27th, when I paid, to June 27th? -> no response

I had a long conversation back and forth, but in the end, all I got was an answer that I canceled my subscription and they couldn't restore it.

If you look at Reddit, there are more people than you think who have experienced their paid plans suddenly changing to free ones like me.

If you happen to experience this, please be aware that there is no solution other than re-subscription.

I'm just using Codex as I used to. Using Codex and Gemini together will work, right?

Human counselors are human too, I guess.
