Last year, Korea's cosmetics export value surpassed the United States and rose to second place in the world, and the trade surplus in this field exceeded $10 billion for the first time in history.
According to information released by the Food and Drug Safety Administration on Friday, Korea's cosmetics exports in 2025 reached a record high of $11.4 billion, an 11.8% increase from the previous year. France ranked first in global cosmetics exports with $24.3 billion. The United States ranked third with $10.8 billion, changing its ranking from the previous year.
