According to industry sources on the 25th, Samsung Display and LG Display recently received final approval for OLED modules for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models from Apple. This is for OLED modules for the existing Bar type iPhone 18 Pro lineup.

The final quantity allocation has not yet been confirmed. An industry official said, "Price negotiations are still ongoing, and the quantity will be finalized later," adding, "Depending on the price negotiation situation, there is a possibility of some adjustments."
Samsung Display and LG Display will handle the quantities for iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Chinese BOE did not receive any allocation for these models. The estimated figures circulating in the industry are that Samsung Display will supply 18 million units for iPhone 18 Pro and 26 million units for Pro Max. LG Display is expected to supply around 19 million units for Pro and 21 million units for Pro Max.
LG Display is said to have proposed a higher price than usual in this year's iPhone 18 OLED price negotiations. Until last year, the price of Apple iPhone OLED panels was highest for Samsung Display, followed by LG Display and BOE.
An industry official said, "Last year, Samsung Display had the highest price, and LG Display was lower than that depending on the model," adding, "It is still unclear whether LG Display will be able to receive the expected quantity as it is due to the higher proposed price, or if there will be further negotiations for additional quantities."
