I had a student I taught at a private academy where I worked part-time before
I was quite good to that student in my own way
I thought, what money would a student have
Whenever we'd ride bikes together, I'd buy them things
This kid only knew how to ride a bike and had no clue about assembling or disassembling
Since I was there, they had something to rely on, so they'd even bring their friends' bikes that needed fixing
They'd bring bikes to have fixed, and then they'd pocket the repair fees themselves
Back then, I thought, well, they're a student, so that could happen
Anyway, this person's character is like this, so there's no point in me saying anything—it would just be a waste of energy
Thinking I'd only gain this student's resentment, I just let it go
Lately, in the midst of being busy with life, I got a new frame to assemble, so with some hope
I tried contacting them after so long, but
As expected, their attitude didn't disappoint my low expectations. They're not even answering the phone
This person's parents are still pouring money into the academy, trying to give their child even a bit more education
It's truly unfortunate
Weak-minded kids really do seem weak-minded
