LG Twins swept the weekend three-game series by hitting 4 home runs like fireworks right from the start of the game.
On the 21st, LG defeated the Doosan Bears 9-3 in a home game of the 2026 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League at Jamsil Stadium, hitting 5 home runs including 4 solo home runs in the bottom of the first inning.
LG, which won thrilling come-from-behind victories led by home runs in all three games against Doosan, pushed out second-place kt wiz by 3 games and ran alone in first place.
Doosan took the lead as Jung Su-bin, who hit a triple in the top of the first inning, scored on an error.
However, after the change of innings, LG hit back-to-back solo home runs by Song Chan-ui, Austin Dean, Park Dong-won, and Moon Jung-bin against Doosan starter Jack Logg, quickly turning it around to 4-1.
It is the first time in KBO League history that 4 home runs have been hit in the first attack of the first inning.
It is also the first time that 4 home runs have been hit in one inning at Jamsil Stadium, which has the farthest distance to the fence.

Samsung took control with a 2-RBI double by Koo Ja-wook with 2 outs and runners on first and third in the top of the third.
Hanwha closed the gap to 1-2 with a solo home run by Kang Baek-ho over the right monster wall in the bottom of the fourth.
However, Samsung added 1 run on an opponent error in the top of the seventh, extended the lead, and secured the victory.
Samsung starter Yang Chang-seop gave up 6 hits and 1 run over 5 innings and earned his fifth win of the season.
Closer Kim Jae-yun, who retired three batters in the bottom of the ninth, recorded his 17th save (4 wins, 3 saves) and led all relievers.

In Changwon, SSG Landers defeated NC Dinos 7-3 in a come-from-behind victory.
NC took a 2-0 lead with a two-run home run by Park Gun-woo in the bottom of the second.
SSG scored 1 run on a hit by pitch with bases loaded and no outs by Guillermo Heredia in the top of the third, and tied the game 2-2 with a center solo home run by Jeon Ui-san in the top of the fifth.
NC took a 3-2 lead again with an RBI hit by Kim Hyung-jun in the bottom of the sixth.
However, SSG came from behind 5-3 with a three-run home run by Heredia up the middle in the top of the seventh.
In the eighth, SSG added 2 runs on RBI hits by Jung Jun-jae and Park Sung-han and secured a decisive victory.
Lotte's Kim Dong-hyun hit a three-run home run.
At Gocheok Dome, the Lotte Giants defeated the Kiwoom Heroes 6-3 and won their fifth straight game.
Lotte took the lead as leadoff batter Hwang Sung-bin, who hit a center field hit, successfully stole second base, and then scored on an RBI hit by Han Dong-hee.
In the top of the fourth, Jeon Min-jae hit an RBI hit to left-center after Han Dong-hee's double to take a 2-0 lead.

Last-place Kiwoom lost six straight games.
