방송미디어통신위원회는 오늘(26일) 이런 내용을 담은 '이동통신서비스 해지 절차 개선방안'을 발표했습니다.
개선안에 따르면 KT와 LG유플러스는 홈페이지와 앱 등을 통해 상담원 채팅 서비스를 도입해 기존 전화 상담 외에 채팅으로도 해지 처리를 지원합니다.
미납요금이 있다는 이유로 해지가 제한됐던 일부 알뜰폰 이용자의 불편도 해소됩니다. 앞으로는 해지 후 다음 달 요금을 정산할 수 있습니다.
